Ravi Zacharias

When former skeptic and seventeen-year-old Ravi Zacharias heard the words of Jesus in John 14:19, “Because I live, you also will live,” the trajectory of his life changed forever. At age 71 he remains committed to his calling to represent the gospel of Jesus Christ through historical, philosophical, and moral foundations and to defend it against objectors with grace, clarity, and coherence. He has laid the framework of the truth of the gospel to millions of people in more than 70 countries, including on the campuses of some of the world’s most prestigious universities. Zacharias is Founder and President of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, which seeks to reach and challenge those who shape culture with the credibility of the gospel of Jesus Christ. RZIM has sixteen offices throughout the world, including an apologetics training center, the Zacharias Institute, at its headquarters in Atlanta. Zacharias has authored or edited over 25 books in the fields of theology, apologetics, comparative religion, and philosophy.

Dr. Larry Moyer

Dr. Larry Moyer Growing up on a dairy farm in Elizabethtown, PA, Larry developed a love for nature and the outdoors. When he looked across the creation, he resolved that there must be an Almighty Creator. God led him from creation to the Creator to the Savior. One night as a teenager, he knelt by his bed on the dairy farm and trusted Christ. From that night, he felt a passion to reach the lost with the clear and simple message of the gospel. Upon receiving his Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1973, he entered full-time evangelism by founding EvanTell, a ministry committed to studying the Scriptures carefully and presenting the gospel clearly. As an evangelist for over 45 years, Larry continues to speak all over the world, write to thousands, and lead EvanTell to reach people for the Kingdom of God.

Rebecca Manley Pippert

Rebecca Manley Pippert is recognized internationally as author, speaker, evangelist and the founder of Becky Pippert Ministries, a global evangelism ministry. Becky and her husband Dick, have ministered extensively on all 6 continents and for the past 7 years they lived and ministered in the UK and Europe. Besides equipping believers globally in the area of incarnational evangelism, Becky is also a noted evangelist. She broadcast regularly on the BBC Radio 4, with a listening audience of 1.3 million. Her first book, Out of the Salt Shaker, was named by Christianity Today magazine as one of 50 books that have most influenced modern Christian thought. She is the author of 11 books and an Evangelism DVD training course that strengthens believers at every stage of their walk with God.

The Definitions Conference is a yearly event held on Cape Cod to serve the greater Church of New England and the Northeast. Each year a different topic is explored to provide greater depth and clarity to how the gospel shapes the life of a believer.

This year, in 2018, the topic is “Witness: Let the redeemed of the LORD say so!” Whether at work, in the community, in Churches, or at home, Christians have an opportunity to be witnesses for the glory of God. Everyone has a story to tell and each of those stories begin and end with Jesus.

This conference will explore what it means to know the gospel personally, to grow in it spiritually, and to communicate it effectively.
